Selective Service Registration Requirement

State Taxes Requir Ement

State law now requires all employees to pay their state taxes in a timely manner as a condition of employment. Each year the Department of Revenue will determine if any state employees are delinquent in paying their state taxes for the prior tax year. Employees who are delinquent will be notified and given sufficient time to resolve their state tax liability. Employees who fail to meet this requirement will be terminated. Lottery Sales Representative (Jefferson City)

The State of Missouri is seeking an individual who will be responsible for the sale and promotion of Missouri Lottery products to retail establishments, serving portions of southern Jefferson County, all of St. Francois and Washington Counties, and northern Iron County. Will work to identify and recruit prospective retail accounts and provide service to established accounts. Provide information and assistance to retailers regarding Lottery policies and procedures relating to new and existing products, incentive programs, billing schedules, licensing, bond renewals, etc. Negotiate with retailers regarding expansion of Lottery product lines and placement of merchandising materials and equipment. Daily driving in assigned territory required. Company van provided.

Inside Sales Team Manager

This is a sales oriented, managerial position responsible for the direct management of assigned Inside Sales Representatives. The Inside Sales Team Manager is responsible for the management of the daily activities of this assigned staff including all order and promotion activity. This person serves as a coach providing the guidance necessary to create and develop a successful and effective sales team. This individual will also maintain some call responsibility, as well as communication with field sales, specifically, District Sales Managers and Corporate Sales Managers. Successful candidate should possess knowledge of the basic principles, methods and techniques involved in the development and administration of the Inside Sales Department. Be able to plan and facilitate the assignment of retailers to the respective ISR’s and make weekly routing adjustments necessary to cover vacations, unscheduled leave, system issues and holidays. Possess the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to lottery staff and other professional agencies or companies. Maintain the ability to organize and conduct professional sales meetings for the purpose of product introductions, team motivation, and departmental direction. Travel as needed to work with regional team members and to support corporate meetings. Possess knowledge of general marketing principles, sales principles and techniques. Ability to properly motivate and inspire direct report employees.

Lottery Customer Service Specialist

The Missouri Lottery Commission is looking for an individual that will be responsible for providing customer service to players, retailers, and/or the general public and will validate and issue payment of lottery prizes; respond to e-mail and mail correspondence, as well as telephone requests; sell Scratchers and Draw Games tickets; accurately maintain cash drawer and ticket inventory; update ticket log and adjustment credit spreadsheets; and obtain winner stories and photos. Individual will also assist with maintaining inventory of office supplies and forms; merchandise lobby area with game information, promotions, and winner information items.

Occasional travel for after-hour events is required.

District Sales Manager

This is a responsible supervisory position that reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager. This person is responsible for maintenance and development of sales of lottery products in the areas assigned which includes the Jefferson City regional area and surrounding counties, working in the field closely with sales team members to support the development and maintenance of an effective, well-trained sales force to aggressively and profitably cover the areas assigned to them; for local interpretation of and compliance with Missouri Lottery policy in the operation of the district; and representation of the Lottery to present and prospective retailers. Overnight travel and after-hours event attendance is required.
